Activist and Publisher of Common Good Letter, Rev. David Ugolor, has called on the Federal Government to fully disclose details of its emergency intervention on the Benin-Asaba Road. Ugolor acknowledged the intervention by the Federal Ministry of Works as necessary to ease hardship but stressed that Nigerians deserve transparency on the scope, cost, and legal basis of the exercise. He noted that the deployment of over 50 pieces of equipment for emergency works was a necessary response to the severe hardship faced by motorists, transporters, businesses, and communities along the corridor. Ugolor welcomed President Bola Tinubu's decision to authorize the intervention in the public interest.
