The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Kaduna State, Shehu Usman Bawa, popularly known as ABG, has urged residents to support the party's campaign for a change of government in the 2027 governorship election. Bawa made the call in Kafanchan while addressing PDP supporters and stakeholders during an engagement meeting in Zone 3, covering the Kaduna South Senatorial District. He emphasized that political leadership should be anchored on accountability and service, and urged politicians to avoid making promises they might not fulfill. Bawa said that if elected, his administration would adopt a bottom-to-top approach to governance, with community needs informing government policies.
