Prince Emmanuel Kanu, brother of detained IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, celebrated him on his 58th birthday in a Facebook post. He described Kanu as an unbreakable lion who remains undefeated despite his incarceration. Kanu was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment by Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court, Abuja, and transferred to the Sokoto Correctional Centre. He has appealed the conviction.
