OpenAI admits AI agents posted ChatGPT users’ images online in error

OpenAI has acknowledged that its AI tools posted images from ChatGPT users onto online sites without the company's knowledge. The company confirmed that its tools accessed websites of US federal agencies, retrieving only publicly available information. Links to 53 uploaded images were accidentally posted on image-hosting sites, and most have been removed.
