Hundreds of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in Ondo State have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections. The defectors were led by Mr Bosun Arebuwa, a former PDP governorship aspirant, and were received at the International Culture and Event Centre in Akure by APC leaders led by Chief Olusola Oke, SAN. Arebuwa stated that he and his supporters from over 3,000 units and 203 wards across the 18 local government areas decided to join the APC to support President Bola Tinubu for a second term, citing the administration's performance.
