Turnover on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) declined by 17.7 percent week-on-week to $2.25 billion in the week ended September 25, 2026. This marks the second consecutive weekly decline. The drop coincides with the Central Bank of Nigeria's decision to cut the Monetary Policy Rate (MPR) to 23 percent.
