The African Democratic Congress in Tambuwal Local Government Area of Sokoto has suffered another defection as its member, Umar Salah, defected to the All Progressives Congress. The defection is seen as a boost for the APC ahead of the 2027 elections. The ADC has now lost another member to the ruling party.
