Atiku Names Kashim Ibrahim-Imam Campaign Chair, El-rufai eputy, Akobundu DG and Momodu Director Media, Communications 

Atiku Abubakar has approved the composition of his presidential campaign council, naming Kashim Ibrahim-Imam as presidential campaign chairman and former Kaduna State governor Mallam Nadir El-rufai as deputy. Senator Austin Akobundu, former National Organising Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, was appointed campaign Director General, while Momodu was named Director of Media and Communications. In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Entertainment, Phrank Shauib, Atiku said the council's size and character reflect the nation's mood and the severe economic realities facing Nigerians. He added that at a time when families are compelled to do more with less, the campaign must demonstrate the same restraint.
