The wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Nonye Soludo, has warned beneficiaries of empowerment equipment distributed by the state government against selling the items. She gave the warning at the Anambra State Government House shortly before the distribution of empowerment materials to 5,000 persons drawn from the 326 political wards of the state. Mrs. Soludo said the beneficiaries were carefully selected based on criteria for those needing empowerment to escape poverty and sustain families. She stated that selling the equipment would be the shortest route to remaining eternally poor.
