A former Vice Chancellor of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Professor Oladipo Aina, has said that Nigeria must prioritise skills and problem-solving over academic certificates for national development. Aina made the remark while emphasising the need for skilled problem-solvers. He noted that certificate holders alone cannot drive national development. He called for a shift in focus towards practical skills.
