United States President Donald Trump said on Saturday that he had rejected a plan proposed by Iran concerning the strategic Strait of Hormuz. According to Trump, Tehran said the proposal would have opened the waterway within seven days. Speaking to reporters outside the White House, Trump said he rejected the proposal, adding that Iran wanted to make a deal because it was losing badly. He said he was open to making a deal.
