Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, has said he never betrayed the confidence reposed in him by the President, insisting he could not have been involved in the allegations levelled against him. Gbajabiamila spoke on Saturday at the 2026 Gbajabiamila Mega Empowerment Programme held at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, where he addressed the controversy and accusations that had surrounded him in recent months. The accusations stemmed from the probe of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), where he was reportedly involved in the activities of a fictitious organisation. Various probes of the fake agency, including one conducted by the House of Representatives, have cleared the former Reps Speaker.
