Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has introduced a monthly payment plan to clear verified debts inherited from the previous administration. The Chairman of the Contractors Association of Kaduna State, Engr. Ahmed Baba, disclosed this after a meeting between senior government officials and the association's leadership in Kaduna. Baba stated that Governor Sani inherited huge liabilities but has demonstrated that government is a continuous process by taking steps to pay the contractors' debts. The monthly payment arrangement is expected to systematically settle verified inherited liabilities, easing the financial burden on contractors who had executed projects for the state.
