The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expelled former Agege Local Government Chairman Chief Ganiyu Egunjobi and Azeez Yusuf for anti-party activities, disloyalty, and conduct contrary to party discipline. The expulsion, announced on Wednesday and signed by state chairman Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, was taken under Article 9(5)(II) of the APC Constitution. Both Egunjobi and Yusuf had sought APC tickets for Agege Constituencies I and II but failed to secure them. The development has intensified political tensions in the constituency.
