Senator Benson Agadaga has been active in the 10th Senate, sponsoring bills and motions aimed at developing the South-South region. He sponsored an amendment bill to the Border Communities Development Agency Act to include neglected maritime border communities in Bayelsa East. He also co-sponsored the South-South Development Commission Bill to drive regional economic expansion. Additionally, he submitted a motion urging the Federal Government to convert the abandoned Shell Airstrip at Oloibiri into an Airforce Base.
