Data from the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) shows that Dangote Refinery's stock reached 630.9 million litres in August. This development coincided with a 26% reduction in Nigeria's daily petrol imports. The increase in local refining capacity appears to be impacting import volumes.
