The Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, has refuted allegations that he betrayed the President's confidence, stating that he was not involved in the activities of the fictitious Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC). Speaking at the 2026 Gbajabiamila Mega Empowerment Programme in Lagos, he noted that investigations into the allegations, including one by the House of Representatives, had cleared him. Gbajabiamila emphasized that due process prevailed despite pressure from some quarters.
