Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has said that the proposal by African Democratic Congress presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to reintroduce fuel subsidy if elected in 2027 is not practicable. Speaking on MIC ON Podcast, Sule cited his experience in the oil and gas industry, explaining that the complexities of importing and distributing petrol make a return to subsidy difficult. He noted that vessels carrying about 30,000 metric tonnes of petrol often face delays at the port due to draft limitations.
