Shea Wert, library director of the North Chatham Free Library in upstate New York, is hosting a "Bye Bye AI" event to help people disable AI features on their phones and email. The flyer for the event went viral on Facebook, receiving over 200 comments and 8,000 likes. Wert told Business Insider she is also willing to help people set up AI. The small library, which has about 800 cardholders, has attracted global interest in the event.
