The Meta data center in Louisiana is creating a housing boom

Meta is building its largest AI data center to date in northeast Louisiana, in Richland Parish. At peak construction, more than 7,500 trade workers will be on-site. The project has created a housing gap that has spurred a boom in mobile home parks like Antley Pines. The arrival of Meta is changing the small farming community, which was previously known for its slower pace of life.
