The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) impounded 84 commercial and private vehicles during an enforcement operation at the weekend. The operation targeted traffic flashpoints around Idumota, Iddo, Ijora-Olopa, Costain, and Onipanu to restore order and ensure compliance with traffic regulations. LASTMA General Manager Olalekan Bakare-Oki expressed concern over commercial buses reversing against traffic along the one-way stretch from Iddo to Idumota through Cater Bridge, which posed serious risks to road users.
