Ajiboye Akande Sangogade, a former Personal Assistant to ex-Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu, has explained his decision to leave the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Allied Peoples Movement (APM). Sangogade cited personal political conviction and belief in the APM's direction, stating his realignment had nothing to do with any disagreement with his former principal. He spoke in Ibadan at the weekend, expressing support for Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and APM governorship candidate Bimbo Adekanmbi, and a desire to provide a platform for greater youth participation in politics.
