Workers in Nigeria's courier and logistics sector, under the Courier and Logistics Staff Association of Nigeria (CALSSAN), have called for urgent regulation of the industry. At their First Quadrennial Delegate Conference in Lagos, CALSSAN President Festus Oluwatuyi identified inadequate regulation as a major challenge, warning that weak oversight exposes the sector and the country to security and economic risks. The workers also appealed to the government to improve road infrastructure.
