The issue was observed by Vanguard as travelers, including editors returning from the 2026 Guild of Editors Conference, sweated in the hall. One passenger, Onyedikachi, called the situation unacceptable, noting that the airport was concessioned months ago but is still not efficiently run. Another passenger, Michael, described the condition as embarrassing for an international airport.
