The Defence Headquarters announced that troops rescued over 60 kidnapped victims and arrested 44 suspects in nationwide operations conducted between September 18 and 24. The operations targeted terrorism, kidnapping, arms trafficking, oil theft, and other security threats. A Nigerian Air Force jet disrupted terrorists moving kidnapped victims in Kebbi State, forcing them to abandon their captives. Ground troops also rescued several victims.
