The Igbo Heroes and Icons Foundation has called for a truce between the Anambra State Government and Peter Obi, the candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, over disagreements regarding the state's loans and financial obligations. In a statement by National Coordinator Hon. Chinedu Nsofor, the group urged both sides to embrace peace and collaboration in the interest of the Igbo people's presidential aspiration. The foundation emphasized that constructive disagreement should not denigrate Obi's political standing or Governor Soludo's position. It advocated for an unbiased examination to resolve the dispute.
