The Federal Government has unveiled plans to transform Nigeria's youthful population into a globally competitive workforce through its National Talent Export Programme. The initiative aims to produce 10 million globally certified Nigerians and one million export-linked jobs by 2030. Minister of Education Dr. Tunji Alausa disclosed this at the Hire From Nigeria side event during the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York. Alausa stated that the Federal Ministry of Education is repositioning the education and skills system to produce trained, certified, and adaptable workers for the global outsourcing and digitally enabled services market, leveraging Nigeria's English-speaking youth, cultural adaptability, and growing digital capabilities.
