Zinox Group, Africa's foremost integrated technology conglomerate, and its e-commerce subsidiary, Konga, have partnered with the Defence Headquarters to launch the Defence Discount Scheme (DDS). The technology-enabled initiative is designed to support the welfare of serving and retired personnel of the Nigerian Armed Forces by giving them access to a wide range of products at discounted rates through Konga's online platform. The scheme is set to go live on October 1, 2026, and was established as part of broader efforts to introduce innovative welfare solutions that directly benefit military personnel and their families. The platform has been seamlessly integrated with the Defence Headquarters for authentication and verification purposes, ensuring that only eligible personnel can access the exclusive discounts. The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Dr. George Akume, was present at the event.
