Two separate mass shootings in South Africa have resulted in at least 27 deaths. In the first incident, 17 people were killed when eight gunmen attacked a bar near Johannesburg, injuring 15 others. In a second attack near Cape Town, 10 people were killed and 11 injured outside an entertainment venue. Police have not yet determined the motives and no arrests have been made.
