Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has questioned the prolonged absence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from the country. In a statement released on Sunday via his spokesperson, Idris Zekeri Jnr, Obi joined other citizens in demanding answers about Tinubu's whereabouts and domestic presence. President Tinubu departed Nigeria on August 30, 2026, for a three-week working vacation in Europe, but concerns have grown as his expected return date passed without his resumption of duties or attendance at international forums.
