Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei was spoofed on "Saturday Night Live" by cast member Jane Wickline during the Weekend Update segment. Wickline portrayed Amodei as a bumbling megalomaniac with two personalities, one media-trained and the other not, who struggled to explain why his own technology would not end the world. At one point, Weekend Update host Michael Che asked about the pros of AI, prompting the two portrayed personalities to exchange words. The real Dario Amodei has called for government regulation of frontier AI companies.
