The Adamawa State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting environmental cleanliness and personal hygiene through sustained public awareness and enforcement of sanitation regulations. Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. Mohammed Sadiq, made this known during a sanitation enforcement exercise conducted across parts of Yola on Saturday. The enforcement team visited Jambutu, Jimeta Bypass, Doubeli, Mai Doki Roundabout, and other locations to monitor compliance with environmental sanitation directives. Sadiq noted that the sanitation task force was divided into two teams, with one covering Yola North Local Government Area and the other monitoring Yola South, and he commended residents in areas where significant compliance was recorded.
