The Adamawa State Executive Council has approved a supplementary budget of ₦169.106 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, along with major projects covering roads, drainage, healthcare, electricity, education, and other critical infrastructure. Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Leader Leneke, disclosed this after the 16th State Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri at the Government House in Yola. Leneke explained that the supplementary appropriation followed the state government's access to additional funds from the Federation beginning in September, which could not be spent until captured in the budget. The supplementary budget raises Adamawa State's total 2026 budget to ₦752,437,409,399, with the additional funds to be distributed among Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
