The State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU) of the Zamfara AGILE Project has commenced supportive supervision of interventions across selected project locations in the state’s 14 local government areas. The exercise is being conducted under Sub-component 3.2 of the Zamfara AGILE Project, which focuses on project management, monitoring and evaluation. The supervision team has so far visited Bakura, Maradun and Talata Mafara local government areas to assess implementation, identify challenges and provide technical support to project teams and other stakeholders. The exercise involves a multidisciplinary team covering safeguards, civil works, life skills, communication, financial management, monitoring and evaluation. The project said the consolidated supportive supervision approach was designed to promote joint problem-solving and strengthen coordination among teams implementing the interventions. It said the exercise would also improve reporting and provide real-time technical mentoring.
