The South-East leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NDC), Teddy Obe, has denied allegations made by Ceejay Ezebuiro. Ezebuiro accused Obe of threatening his life and demanding N150 million to retain his ticket. Obe has refuted these claims.
