The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reaffirmed its commitment to neutrality, fairness, and transparency for the 2027 general elections. The Commission made this known on its official X platform on Sunday after its Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, SAN, visited the Emir of Zazzau, Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR. The visit was part of preparations for an interactive meeting with staff and a readiness assessment for the 2027 elections at the zonal level. Amupitan was accompanied by National Commissioners and other officials.
