Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has admitted that he killed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi State when he was governor and would not allow the party to come back alive in the state. Umahi stated that he has no hand in the aspiration of the PDP governorship candidate, Ifeanyi Odii, stressing that he has no relationship with anyone that would jeopardise the re-election of Governor Francis Nwifuru. He made the statement during the inspection of the Cross River-Ebonyi-Benue-Abuja trans-Saharan Highway. Umahi also noted that the choice of his son, Osborn, for a chairmanship position indicates that Governor Nwifuru means well for him.
