Nigerian Breweries Plants 340,000 Trees, Restores over 350 Hectares

Nigerian Breweries Plc, in collaboration with the Ogun State Ministry of Forestry, has planted over 340,000 indigenous trees and restored more than 350 hectares of degraded forest at Olokemeji forest over five years. The Olokemeji Forest Reforestation Project, implemented with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, aims to advance environmental stewardship, biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable ecosystem management. Corporate Affairs Director Uzodinma Odenigbo stated that the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen ecosystem restoration and environmental sustainability in communities where the company operates.
