Runsewe Excited as Nigerian Open Golf Returns After Two Decades

The Nigeria Golf Federation has scheduled the Nigeria Open Golf Tournament for November 16 to 20, 2027, marking its return after two decades. NGF President Otunba Olusegun Runsewe announced the event, stating it will be the biggest golfing event in the country. The Nigerian Open was previously played between 1969 and 1999, mostly at Ikoyi Club in Lagos, and from 1997 to 1999 at IBB International Golf and Country Club in Abuja. Runsewe said the federation has taken time to prepare and establish systems capable of meeting international standards.
