The Ogun State Police Command has arrested 45-year-old Ameachi Anthony in connection with an alleged N2.5 million fraud. According to DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, 25 ATM cards and multiple mobile phones were recovered from the suspect. Preliminary investigation revealed an alleged scheme involving utility bills and newly acquired SIM cards used through associates to open bank accounts, after which ATM cards were collected for fraudulent transactions. The arrest was made by Igbesa Division on September 22, 2026.
