Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA have arrested three suspected terrorist logistics couriers transporting N2.7 million in suspected ransom money and rescued 14 kidnapped victims in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State. The suspects were intercepted on September 24 while traveling on a motorcycle. Preliminary interrogation revealed they were conveying the money and three mobile phones to a terrorist kingpin through intermediaries. In a separate operation on September 25, troops ambushed terrorists based on credible intelligence.
