A gas explosion in Kubwa, Bwari Area Council of the FCT, destroyed about eight business outlets and vehicles. The incident occurred at about 6 am near Liberty Junction along Arab Road after a Toyota 4Runner reportedly lost control and crashed into a cooking gas outlet where gas cylinders were stored. A resident, Monday Lucky, said volunteers rescued the driver, his wife, and their child from the vehicle, with the wife sustaining a minor knee injury. Flames broke out following the crash.
