Atiku, Obi, ADC, Others Question Tinubu’s Extended Holidays, Want Clarity on Status

Opposition leaders, including Atiku Abubakar of the African Democratic Congress and Peter Obi of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, have questioned President Bola Tinubu's extended holidays and demanded clarity on his status. Atiku said Nigerians have a right to know the president's whereabouts, while Obi expressed concern over Tinubu's continued absence from Nigeria and the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York. The ADC Presidential Campaign Council also demanded an explanation from the presidency over Tinubu's continued absence, six days after the expiration of his originally announced three-week vacation. The presidency has maintained that Tinubu is hale and hearty.
