The Federal Government has set a target of creating one million export-linked jobs by 2030 to capture a larger share of the global outsourcing market. Vice President Kashim Shettima announced this at the global launch of the Hire From Nigeria campaign in New York, on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly. Shettima noted that the global market for outsourced services is expected to exceed $1 trillion in the coming years, and Nigeria is well positioned to take advantage due to its young, digitally skilled, English-speaking workforce.
