The CEO of language-learning startup Preply asks job candidates these questions

Kirill Bigai, CEO of language-learning startup Preply, said he is spending 50% to 60% of his time on hiring this quarter. He asks job candidates a range of questions, including why they are leaving their current job. Bigai said the startup looks to hire around three categories: ambition, boldness, and collaboration. Preply has more than 800 employees and was valued at $1.2 billion in January, with 118 open roles listed on its website.
