Ukraine's Third Army Corps has been deploying a network of aerial and ground drones for mine-laying and clearing operations on the front lines in northern Donetsk. According to a unit commander, visibility determines when these drones are used, with ground robots typically deployed at night. The unit, NC13, specializes in unmanned ground vehicles and also uses bomber drones capable of dispersing up to 40 anti-personnel mines per sortie. These missions are part of Operation Vivaldi, which the corps says has seized about 50 square miles around the city of Lyman.
