The Federal High Court in Abuja has fixed October 13 for the hearing of an application filed by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), seeking to amend his suit against President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC). Justice Inyang Ekwo adjourned the matter to allow parties to regularise their processes. During the proceedings, counsel for Atiku and ADC, Joseph Silas, said he had not received President Tinubu's counter affidavit, but Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN, lawyer to the president, stated that the counter affidavit was served on September 24 and acknowledged by the plaintiffs' counsel. The judge confirmed the proof of service and adjourned the case.
