The Labour Party (LP) has questioned the legality of President Bola Tinubu's extended working vacation in Europe, calling the concept of a "working vacation" contradictory and contrary to the intent of the Constitution. The party's National Publicity Secretary, Eluma Asogwa, said that while it may be difficult to pinpoint a direct constitutional breach, the term appears to have been deliberately introduced to give the semblance of continued discharge of presidential responsibilities abroad. Asogwa encouraged the opposition to head to court to test the validity of the term. The LP's comments come amid ongoing debate over the President's absence.
