Two seven-year-old boys, Oloyede Ayo and Clinton Koleola, have died after coming in contact with a live electric wire that reportedly fell on a shop along Apefon Road in Idanre, Ondo State. The incident occurred on Saturday, throwing residents of the area into panic as the children reportedly attempted to escape from the shop after the electricity wire fell. An eyewitness said the boys were inside the shop when the live cable suddenly came down on the building, causing panic among people in the vicinity. The incident was subsequently reported to the police, who commenced inquiries into the circumstances that led to the deaths.
