The Katsina State Government has rewarded its best-performing primary school teacher for 2026 with a brand-new Peugeot 206. Hadiza Nazifi of Bayajidda Memorial Primary School, Daura, received the vehicle from Dr Kabir Magaji, Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board, at the board's headquarters. Magaji said she was recognised for dedication to duty, diligence, resilience, punctuality and commitment to teaching and learning. He said her selection was endorsed by an award committee and internal and external evaluators, and that the initiative is part of efforts by the Governor Dikko Umaru Radda-led government to reward outstanding civil servants.
